The Muriel Bolton Award is made annually by the Dublin Lawn Tennis Council, to a Lady Member of any club affiliated to the DLTC who in the opinion of the Council has made a significant contribution as a player or administrator to the Dublin Leagues.

Brookfield Committee proposed Ruth Potterton for this award and submitted a presentation to the DLTC some time ago.

I am now very pleased to advise that the recipient of the Muriel Bolton Award for 2017 is Ruth Potterton.

The Trophy was presented to Ruth by Harry McCarthy, President DLTC at the Senior League Finals on Sunday 22 October.
