MAST INSTALLATION  

As you will be aware, Brookfield has signed a lease with Shared Access for them to erect and operate a 16 metre Mobile Phone Monopole next to the Palmerston Park Wall at the east end of the ground.

Work will commence tomorrow Friday 27th January.

The site will be prepared.  This will involve a lane closure on Palmerston Park from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. so parents should leave a little extra time if travelling to Brookfield. The grass area will be sealed off with site security fencing from early tomorrow and all equipment will either be lifted over the wall or come through the side gate near the bus shelter.

No member or visitor is permitted to access the fenced off area for the duration of the build.

Work will commence behind the security fencing for the next 3 weeks without disruption to Clubhouse access. It is possible that at some stage access to Court 6 may be restricted when work is in progress on the actual pole but this will only be for a short period of time.

On Friday 17th February it is planned that there will be another lane closure on Palmerston Park to enable the monopole to be lifted into place.  Over the next 3 weeks we will advise members of any restrictions on that day which obviously is a key date in the construction and a time of heightened risk.
