Brookfield Junior Club Championships 2015

The Junior Championships will take place from Monday 17th to Saturday 22nd August. Mark McAndrew will be running the event.
Entries are as follows:
- Under 9 Singles.
- Under 10 Singles and Doubles.
- Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Cash should be put in an envelope, clearly marked 'Junior Championships' with child's name and posted in the post box in the hall beside the door.
You will need to set up an account,’ its relatively easy’, this link will walk you through it. When you have your account then you can complete the online entry.
Note in personal details the club is 'Brookfield'. If your child has agreed a doubles partner, the partner name should be entered, if you would like Mark to select a partner for you enter 'another' in the box indicated.
Please note the following:
All players must enter a singles event.
Players must be under the relevant age on 1 January 2015 e.g. to be eligible for an u12 event a player must have been born in 2003 or 2004. U10= born in 2005. U9=born in 2006. Players must be members of Brookfield Tennis Club.
Each event will be run on a round robin basis with subsequent play-offs. Some seeded players may be given a bye to play-off stages. Children must check their time of play and will be scratched if they are more than 15 minutes late.
The entry fee is €15 for under 9's and €20 for all other age groups. There is a maximum number of events a player may enter (3). Please note this not apply to under 9's. The fee includes the cost of the BBQ for the players on Saturday 22 August.
Proper tennis wear and shoes are mandatory. Players will not be allowed on courts without correct footwear. Players should supply their own age appropriate balls. (suggest they bring 3 balls with them each day)
Parents with children playing in U9 and U10 events will be required to umpire for one session during the competition. A timetable will be provided closer to the event.
Children must be available for the entire competition days with the exception of the main draw of events at the Irish Open at Fitzwilliam LTC. We will endeavour to accommodate players playing in this event if reasonable advance notice is given of all matches.
Mixed doubles pairings WILL BE MADE by the Tournament Committee. This event is fun and we would encourage all players to be included.
If there are not sufficient numbers for some events, the Tournament Committee will decide if they should go ahead or not.
