The Brookfield Monday (non-league) Charity League team thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing in competitive matches in the 2014 Spring session. Tadhg Lambe and Mairead Wales coached in positioning and strategy for doubles play and this helped bring focus, drive and confidence to our game. We were runners up in our section and went on to win our semi-final. We met Newtownpark TC (having previously lost to them 3-0 in our group) in the final at Templeogue TC on 28th April and won after an epic 3 set decider. The support received throughout and especially on Final Day was fantastic and hugely appreciated.
